Call to Worship
Pastor: Come away from haste and frantic busyness.
This is the season for quiet waiting.
People: It is hard to still our souls when we are so
busy. It is hard to be patient with ourselves or others.
Pastor: Receive God’s mercy and strengthen your
hearts! A Savior is coming; God’s love is near!
People: We want to hear and believe God’s promises.
We want to become patient, loving seekers.
Pastor: God presents us with a high and holy way.
Come before God now with praise and singing.
People: We sense the joy God offers to us!
Our spirits rejoice in God our Savior!
Pastor: Amen!
People: Amen.
