Council of American Overseas Research Centers

Provides fellowships and resources for international scholarly exchange. Maintains affiliations with international member centers.

Council For Opportunity in EducationThe COE supports TRIO programs and has a number of international initiatives for TRIO students. The site has information about study abroad programs, financing study abroad (scholarships and fellowships) and expanding access to international study for TRIO students.

Forum on Education Abroad

Provides resources for education abroad professionals. Supports research on study abroad and helps to develop and promote best practices.

US Department of State supports language study in its Critical Language Scholarship Program and offers summer institutes and language learning abroad.

This site gives tips and information about spotting scholarship offers that are not legitimate and scams.

International Travel Advisories

Overseas Security Council The OSC provides news about overseas security, advisories, reports and crime and safety information. The OSC promotes security cooperation between countries, and is established under the authority of the secretary of state.

US Department of State The US Department of State provides information about travel to foreign destinations, gives contact information for US embassies and consulars, and includes tips for travel and living abroad. In addition the site includes information about passports, visas and travel warnings and alerts.
