World’s Finest Automotive Bra Installation Instructions: Dodge Viper Targa Top Case
Included Parts (Wall Mount) – Three (3) Mounting Hooks
Required tools (Wall Mount) – Tape measure, Level, Pencil
Pre-Installation
1)Carefully read and follow instructions, to ensure optimal installation and performance.
2)Thoroughly wash & wax Targa Top surfaces.
3)When inserting Targa Top, place SpeedLingerieTMTarga Top Storage Case on a flat, stable surface.
4)Orient yourself with Storage Case; topside, underside, grommets, zipper, latches.
SpeedLingerieTMTarga Top Case – Loading/Unloading
1)Lay Storage Case on flat, stable surface, color-matched side facing up.
2)To open Storage Case, unlatch turnbuckles, open top flap, un-zip, open both flaps.
3)Release Targa Top latches on your Viper. With help of a second person, remove Targa Top.
4)With your helper, slide Targa Top into open Storage Case, painted surface up. Support Targa Top from bottom, and pull Storage Case over Targa Top.
5)Zip-up Storage Case, making sure zipper protective tab lays between zipper and painted surface.
6)Latch turnbuckles, starting with center latch. The fit is snug to provide maximum support, and maintain perfect shape.
Wall Hook Installation
1)Choose a space on garage/showroom wall to mountCase. You will need an area approx 45” x 45”.
2)Note! Each hook must go into a wall stud to properly support weight of Targa Top. Locate 2 x 4 wall studs. Standard space between wall stud centers is 16”. Use level to align placement. Place hooks 16” apart, aligned with centers of wall studs, and screw into wall studs.
3)Mount hooks with enough clearance from car doors, bicycles, dogs, etc. Mount it low enough so you and a helper can hook/unhook without use of a ladder/step stool. We suggest approx 78” high.
Mounting Storage Case
1)With your helper, lift Targa Top in Storage Case and carry to wall.
2)Hook center grommet of Storage Case onto pre-installed center wall hook. Hook remaining grommets to remaining wall hooks.
Final Adjustment
1)Adjust SpeedLingerieTM where necessary, to assure proper fit.
2)For full effect of SpeedLingerieTM design and glove-like fit, allow 72 hours for material(s) to relax and conform to vehicle’s curves.
3)Park in a warm sunny spot with SpeedLingerieTM on for a few days, to help the process.
4)Apply a quality vinyl conditioner to SpeedLingerieTM if you so desire.
Care & Maintenance
1)For best results, be sure that vehicle surfaces are clean and dry before installing SpeedLingerieTM.
2)Always inspect SpeedLingerieTM fasteners & surfaces that contact vehicle for possible debris, sand, grit, etc...and remove before installation.
3)Periodically remove SpeedLingerieTM to allow complete aeration of vehicle paint finish and SpeedLingerieTM materials.
4)Remove SpeedLingerieTM before washing vehicle.
5)Remove SpeedLingerieTM after exposure to rain or other moisture/fluids.
6)Clean outer vinyl surfaces of SpeedLingerieTM with a high quality vinyl conditioner during routine car maintenance.
7)Clean felt inner surface with water if necessary, allowing it to dry completely, and brush/vacuum out any remaining particles.
8)To avoid staining or discoloration of SpeedLingerieTM, do not store in direct contact with rubber products (eg. tires, hose, mats).
