A profile for every need – Eforte from Inoutic/Deceuninck

Inoutic/Deceuninck launches super-insulating window profile

“How do people want to live now and in the future?” Developments at Inoutic/Deceuninck revolve around this basis question. Studying home living trends and people’s needs opens up state-of-the-art system solutions that particularly focus on demands for high energy efficiency and practical application. With its new product Eforte the system provider Inoutic/Deceuninck remains committed to these goals, offering a profile that boasts an outstanding Uf value and unmatched flexibility in use.
With the launch of Eforte the company Inoutic/Deceuninck is the first provider to realise the excellent Uf value of 0.95 W/m²K with conventional steel reinforcement, a profile depth of 84 mm and no additional insulating elements. The Uw values achievable with this system meet the current requirements specified in the EnEV 2009 – and also those that are likely to be in the EnEV 2012. Even the passive house standard can be implemented cost-effectively with glazing that features a Ug value of 0.6 W/m²K. With the installation of special glass it is even possible to reach a Uw value of

0.66 W/m²K thus exceeding passive house standard requirements by far. The fensterbau/frontale exhibition will witness the presentation of a unique thermal reinforcement made of plastic, that has integrated steel cables and can be optionally installed in the large reinforcement chamber. With this rein-forcement even better Uf values can be achieved than with the Eforte basic version. The passive house standard can then be implemented even more efficiently. The thermal reinforcement combines the rigidity of steel with the excellent thermal insulating properties of PVC. The deep edge cover of

20 mm in the sashes also guarantees an optimal surface temperature in the glazing bead area.
A completely new sealing system has been developed for this profile with an additional seal in the glass rebate, an engaging centre seal and new weldable, multifunctional rebate and glazing seals on the frame or sash. The latter provides extreme watertightness and allows for a wide tolerance in the glazing. “Our know-how and expertise from many years of research have been put into this sealing concept”, comments Robert Sailer, Corporate Product Manager at Inoutic/Deceuninck. “It was our set goal to launch a low-energy profile that offers flexible installation possibilities. Characteristic features such as optimum watertightness and effective noise insulation are a matter of course in window profiles from Inoutic/Deceuninck.” To ensure functionality at its best the framed seals are made of three materials. Water runs off easily based on their flush mounting. For enhanced noise insulation and security it is possible with Eforte to install functional glass of up to 56 mm in thickness.
The intelligent Eforte profile concept makes it suitable for installation in old and new buildings. “Many products on the market with good thermal insulation values often cannot be used for refurbishment projects due to their profile depth”, adds Robert Sailer. In addition to universal application, the Deuctone Colors concept at Inoutic/Deceuninck offers an unmatched selection of colours and decors. The range of colours includes uni colours, wood grain decors, laminated foils of pearl-like structure or with an aluminium look, as well as a range of matt satin finishes. This makes it possible to accentuate different architectural styles and even facades of passive houses can be designed to suit individual tastes. Slim sight lines of 120 mm, offset sashes and narrow overlaps create an aesthetic profile that is perfect in form and design. Eforte profiles can also optionally feature the Inoutic adhesive bonding technology to meet the frequent customer request for floor to ceiling elements of up to 2.6 metres.
At Inoutic/Deceuninck the principle of practical application is also applied to the manufacturing process. “We always strive to provide added value for our processors and dealers”, comments Stephan Coester, Managing Director. As a modular system Eforte has a clip system on the back of the frame for easy mounting of other established Inoutic products. A wide range of accessories from the existing programmes are compatible with Eforte. The glazing beads of the Prestige system, for example, and Inoutic fittings are identical to the Eforte elements. This means an easy and economical storage for the fabricators.
The profile system Eforte is a future-proof system that relies on proven Inoutic technologies. The Inoutic 2-foot glazing bead that is already used in many products, for example, awards Eforte enhanced burglar protection. Inoutic/Deceuninck underscores environmental awareness in that its products do not present a health hazard and old windows can be recycled through easy separation of the reinforcements from the PVC elements. With Eforte customers can realise their desire for low-energy living without having to do without design variety and the benefits of the renowned Inoutic products. Eforte can adjust the customer’s specific wishes like a chameleon.
