Description

The Teacher Mini Grant application is a means of providing financial assistance, materials, technology, and/or equipment to teachers who wish to explore creative and innovative approaches to classroom learning environments. The funding category is competitive; therefore, the description of the project must be specific and complete.

Eligibility and Review Criteria

Henry County teachers in any discipline may apply. Teachers must already have an approved interactive board grant or a TV installed. Applications are reviewed for completeness and judged on likelihood for successful utilization. Only one Exabyte Challenge grant may be awarded per school per teacher.

Amount of Assistance

Successful grant applicants will be awarded an Apple TV (Exabyte Challenge #1), iPad (Exabyte Challenge #2), or document camera (Exabyte Challenge #3) to utilize in his/her classroom in order to support instructional technology.

Application Review and Evaluation

Successful grantees will be notified by e-mail. Grantees will be periodically evaluated on the implementation of the project by monitoring the use of the technology in grantee’s classroom.
