Dear Name:

More than 100,000 U.S. patients are currently waiting for solid organ transplants, with up to 100,000 more searching for a cord blood, marrow or stem cell match. Each day, about 77 people receive an organ transplant. Each day, 19 people die waiting for an organ transplant.

The numbers are overwhelming, but there is a way you can give hope to a transplant-needy child right here in location who needs your help. Age-year-old Patient name, from town name, has asked our community and the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) for life-saving assistance. Patient name needs/has had a transplant type transplant. COTA helps families who are facing a life-saving transplant by providing fundraising assistance and family support. COTA funds are used for transplant-related expenses. The COTA for Patient Name community campaign is organizing events and activities in the area to help families like the Patient last names.

A team of family and friends are working to raise needed funds for transplant-related expenses. We are counting on the generosity of local businesses people who can donate their time, energy and resources. All gifts are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. COTA will provide a charitable gift receipt for contributions of more than $75, and volunteers will provide receipts for gifts of products or services.

Will you help us give hope to a local child?

You may add here that a COTA team member will stop by the business to discuss (or pick up) a donation.

If you have questions, or want to learn other ways you can help, please call Campaign Coordinator/Event Chair at phone number, or email name at email address.

Together, we can give hope and make a miracle for Patient Name!

Sincerely,

Name
