2018 NORTHBRIDGE ESTATES HOA POOL POLICES, RULES AND REGULATIONS

Pool Season: Friday, May 25, 2018 – Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018

Pool Hours: 9:00 AM – 8:45 PM Keep a copy!

Entrance Policies:

  1. Only PAID Northbridge Estates residents and their guests (four or less guests) may use pool facilities.
  2. Proper photo ID required – At least one patron must be 18 or older and must show photo ID when asked during pool season. Those under 18 MUST HAVE adult supervision.
  3. All pool patrons may be asked for photo ID from any pool staff or HOA representative at any time.
  4. One adult may bring up to 2 children under the age of 4. Those under 4 should be in arms-reach of an adult AT ALL TIIMES. THOSE MONITORING CHILDREN SHOULD NOT BE ON CELL PHONES.
  5. Gate or fence jumping is strictly prohibited and will be treated as trespassing with or without police involvement.
  6. Persons with open sores or communicable diseases may not enter the pool at any time.

Guest Policies:

  1. Only 4 guests allowed per household at one time. Members are responsible for any/all guest misbehavior.
  2. Inviting NBE Residents as Guests will result in fines and/or loss of pool privileges.
  3. Residents must be 18 years of age to bring guests (four or less guests). NO EXCEPTIONS!
  4. Residents are required to STAY WITH all guests and accompany them at all times. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Pool Rules:

  1. NBE Pool is “SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK” at all times.
  2. No running, diving, pushing, profane language, or “rough housing” in the pool area at any time.
  3. There is zero tolerance policy for fighting and/or persons making threats of any kind and will result in immediate discharge. This may result in discharge and pool use suspension. Videos will be shared with Clayton County Police/Sheriff.
  4. Proper swim wear attire is required to enter pool. No street attire, t-shirts, cut off pants/jeans, see-thru swimwear, workout attire, cover ups are allowed in the pool or on the pool deck at any time. Undergarments may not be worn in the pool at any time.
  5. All children 4 and under must wear swim diapers or rubber pants under bathing suits to enter the pool. ISSUES WITH NOT WEARING SWIM DIAPERS CAUSES POOL TO CLOSE FOR CLEANING FOR A MINIMUM OF 24-HOURS PER CLAYTON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT. FINE - $100.00!
  6. Only slide on, mesh water shoes may be worn in the pool. Must be put on inside pool area.
  7. Children ages 4 and under must be within arms distance of caregiver at all times.
  8. Only devices made for pool enjoyment are permitted. Hard sports equipment (footballs, baseballs, tennis balls, etc.) are not allowed in pool or on pool deck.
  9. No pets, bicycles, tricycles, skateboards, hover-boards, roller skates, etc., are permitted in the pool area.
  10. Food and drinks are only allowed on pool deck and are prohibited in the pool or on the pool ledge. No littering. All trash is to be disposed of in the provided trash receptacles.
  11. Pool furniture is not permitted in the pool at any time.
  12. No glass or breakable containers are permitted in the pool area, inside or outside at any time.
  13. No chewing gum is permitted AT the pool at the pool to protect filters.
  14. No smoking is allowed at any time in any part of the pool area.
  15. Radio, tape, CD players with speakers may only be used with the consent of other people at the pool. Headphones are to be used at anyone’s request.
  16. In order to comply with Clayton County law, the pool gate must be kept CLOSED at all times.
  17. SHARING POOL KEYS WITH NEIGHBORS WILL RESULT IN LOSING POOL ACCESS FOR THE SEASON.
  18. Always be considerate of other members and their guests by avoiding excessive noise.
  19. In case of an emergency, dial 911 immediately!

Safety:

  1. Because there are no lifeguards or monitors, remember to take safety breaks, (usually 15 minutes is helpful). The rule is “swim at your own risk” at all times.
  2. NO ONE should be in the pool during inclement weather – GET OUT OF POOL when lightening, thunder, or storms are at pool.
  • Northbridge Estates considers an adult to be at least 18 years of age. BRING ID!
  • Only Members who are current on their homeowner dues are allowed to use pool. The Association reserves the right to deny pool privileges and/or fine any resident violating the above rules.
  • Any resident or their guest(s) wearing inappropriate attire or who has undergarments visible will be asked to leave the pool area for the day on the first occurrence. Any subsequent occurrence will result in possible suspension.

I have received, read, understand and agree to abide by the Northbridge Estates pool policies, rules, regulations and dress code. I further understand that HOA Representatives have the authority to ask residents or their guests to leave the pool for non-compliance and that the Northbridge Homeowners’ Association reserves the right to close the pool at their discretion due to contamination, repairs, and/or events. Finally, I/we have and/or will explain pool use requirements and expectations to those associated with my property/home and take full responsibility for family members and/or guests with the knowledge that fines may be assessed against my property for pool infractions.

THE POOL GATE AUTOMATICALLY LOCKS EACH EVENING! IF YOU DO NOT LEAVE THE POOL DECK BY 8:45 YOU WILL BE LOCKED IN AND THERE WILL BE A $20.00 CHARGE FOR SOMEONE TO OPEN THE GATE.
