Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM) Guide for Interviewers/Hiring Managers

Search committee members can access a new TAM job opening after screening tools are approved.

How to view applications

Instructions for one (1) pdf of the applicant’s entire application

  1. Click on ‘printer’ icon

Result:

  1. Only SELECT the boxes shown below

  1. Click on ‘Generate Report’

Instructions for generating one (1) PDF for a GROUP of APPLICANTS is attached

If an applicant did not upload a separate document with references or provide them within their resume or cover letter in the ATTACHMENTS section of their application, click

Click on the Applicant’s Name > Applicant Data > References tab.

To RETURN to previous page click

Click on ‘View All’ to see all applicants listed in alpha order

Click on the spreadsheet icon to get a list of all applicants listed in alpha order in an Excel format that individual search committee members can temporarily save on your desktop. Add / delete as needed for evaluation summaries of completeness of applications, Tool 1 & Tool 2 results.

Technical trouble-shooting tips

  • Try a different browser > Recommend CHROME or Firefox, then Internet Explorer
  • When the Pop Blocker message comes up click on:‘Always allow from this site”
  • Update internet settings to allow opening of attachments and file downloads by following the steps provided for each browser type:
  • Clear the CACHE on your internet browser.
  • Tools > Internet Options > Go to: Browsing History and click on Delete > Check all > Delete > OK
  • ContactHR Recruiter, ASK5000 or check with your Building IT person.

IMPORTANT

Always of TAM when done.

Delete all TAM downloads off your computer that contain applicant information when recruitment is finished.

Instructions for creating one (1) PDF document for a GROUP of APPLICATIONS

* The illustration below is just one way of choosing a group of applicants.

The sample being used reflects a TAM Job Opening in the final stages of the recruitment. The ‘buckets’ below indicate there are:

23 applicants total

8 are in ‘Applied’ status (have not been screened)

1 is in ‘Route’ status as a viable hire (no offer made)

2 are being made a verbal ‘Offer’

8 are on ‘Hold’

4 are in ‘Reject’ status

In this example we are going to create one (1) PDF of all the applications currently in the ‘Applied’ status; for a separate adjunct hire need in the Dept.

  1. Click on the ‘Applied’ bucket. (This will narrow the PDF to only the 8 applicants not yet screened.)
  2. Then scroll down and click on ‘Select All’
  1. Click on the following, sequentially: ‘Group Actions’ > ‘Recruiting Actions’ > ‘Print Application Details’

Result:

  1. SELECT the boxes as shown above > Click on the following, sequentially: RunOK> ‘Process Monitor’

Result:

  1. Click on REFRESH - may need to do numerous times until you receive this:

  1. Click on ‘Details’

Result:

  1. Click on ‘View Log/Trace’

Result:

  1. Click on PDF hyperlink > Applications_Report_#########.pdf to receive all applications selected in one report

NOTE:

  • The PDF application(s) report may be temporarily saved on search committee members computers until the recruitment is completed. At such time all application materials are to be permanently deleted from search committee members individual desktops and/or drives.
