Dear NAAM Members,

NAAM(Narsee Monjee College Alumni Association) Co-ordination Committee wishes you and your family a very Happy and Prosperous New Year 2009. The journey of NAAMso far has been very gratifying and enriching. Through NAAM, the members have maintained connectivity and contact with their batch mates as well as the alma mater.

Today, NAAM has over 50,000 members who have graduated from our prestigious Institution. NAAM has been actively involved in organizing workshops and seminars on a range of subjects for the benefit of its members and also for the current students of our alma mater. Past few years have seen NAAM organizing Guest Lectures by Alumni and other eminent professionals for the benefit of current students (as a part of their curriculum) with active support from SVKM, our Principal and other faculty members. We have also been felicitating our college students who are toppers / rank holders at the Board & University level, as also the faculty during their retirement / superannuation from our alma mater.

NAAM has also been successful in organizing Regular Re - Unions, which not only provide great entertainment to the members and their families but also provide them with an opportunity for fellowship & to meet their batch mates, friends and faculty. In the past few years NAAM has organized Kal Aaj Aur Kal– agrand Musical evening where our Institition’s past and current talents performed, Jatin – Lalit Nite where hot favorites like Sunidhi Chauhan, Babul Supriyo, Sadhana Sargam & Jatin/Lalit performed live and HASS BALIYE-a Laughter show by the champions themselves - Sunil Pal & Deepak Raja.

This year, we areplanning to organize a Musical night “Taare Zameen Par” onSaturday, 7thof February, 2009 at Jashoda Rang Mandir from 7.00 pmonwards which will be followed by Dinner. Given the limited capacity of the venue, Donation passes will be issued on first – come – first - serve basis. To avoid disappointment, we request you to book your passes in advance.

The pride of any organization lies in its members and we are very proud of the fact that all our members are extremely successful people in their respective fields. To encourage and support the activities of NAAM, members can voluntarily contribute by placing advertisements in the NAAM Newsletter / Souvenir –2009, which shall be released at the get-together on 7thFeb, 2009 or place banners at the program venue.
