6th Grade CHEETAH TEAM

Dear Cheetah Team Students and Parents,

Welcome to sixth grade! We are looking forward to an exciting year. This letter is to give you an overview of team expectations and some general information. Each of you will receive an agenda as well as several forms for signature after review. One of the forms is the CMS Students’ Rights and Responsibilities handbook. This is important for you to understand the school system’s expectations for our students. One of these expectations is listening and participating in class activities, using appropriate behavior for each learning situation. RESPECT FOR ALL is a major expectation on the Cheetah team. We believe a collaborative effort between students, parents and teachers will produce a successful school year for all of us. Questions or concerns may always be addressed to any Cheetah teacher. The school phone number is 980-343-1068. Also, you may email us through the school website. Each teacher will provide their website information to the students and have it written inside the student agenda.

Cheetah Expectations

Progress Reports

The Cheetahs will conduct conferences at the end of first quarter. Sign up information will be provided during 6th grade Curriculum Night, September 13th. However, if you need a conference sooner, call the 6th grade school counselor, Ms. Stone, to schedule that conference with the Cheetah teachers.

Thank you so much for your forthcoming support, understanding, and time. We will strive to do our best in educating your child in a rigorous and productive manner. We are looking forward to the best year possible as we all work together.
