from Father Gary yanus --- Today we have much to celebrate! Nicholas and Christopher Haubert will receive the Lord in Holy Communion for the first time. We pray that they will always be close to Jesus and his Church throughout their lives. We also celebrate with the St. Ladislas Society who are participating in today’s Mass and welcome them with our prayers and best wishes. Today throughout the world the Church celebrates the pillars of our Catholic faith, St Peter and St Paul. Their sacrifices for the Kingdom of God have led directly to us today who have inherited the faith of the apostles. While St. Peter and St. Paul are now safe in the heavenly kingdom praying for us, let us remain steadfast in faith, hope and charity and continue their mission of bringing Jesus to the world. Fr. WELCOME TO THE MEMBERS OF THE ST.LASZLO ORDER who are with us today to celebrate the Feast of Hungary’s king and saint- Szent László ( Ladislaus) . Meeting of the order will be at 12 noon in the church, and lunch in the hall downstairs afterwards for those who made their reservations.
NEXT SUNDAY – OUR MONTHLY YOUTH MASS. We look forward to welcoming the youth at the Mass followed by the social to celebrate the birthdays in July.

Many have commented on how pretty the flowers are in the garden here. Thanks to our custodian, Victor, for his dedication and hard work for keeping our church gardens and the buildings in such good order.

MA- MÁSODIK GYŰJTÉS a Szent Atya javára. “Péter Fillérek”.
Többen megjegyezték, hogy milyen szép a virágoskert templomunk körűl. Köszönjük gondnokunknak, Viktornak (Kukkancsnak) , az odaadó sok munkát, hogy ilyen széppé tartja a kerteket és az épületet.
Szent Péter és Szent Pál apostolok a kegyetlen Néró császár idején szenvedtek vértanúságot 64–67 körül. Jézus választotta ki őket és foglalta le a szolgálatra. Vértanúságuk volt a bizonyíték arra, hogy hivatásukat komolyan vették. Nemcsak szóval hirdették Krisztust, hanem vérük hullásával is az igazolták, hogy „ha a búzaszem nem hull a földbe, és el nem hal, egymaga marad, de ha elhal, sok termést hoz.” (Jn 12, 24)A két főapostol vértanúsága bizonyíték arra, hogy hivatásukat komolyan vették. Nemcsak szóval hirdették Krisztust, hanem vérük hullásával is.
