1.  Welcome and introductions

  6. Determine who will be your social media representative. Do we need training?
  7. What resources or what do you need from the coalition to support your efforts?
  8. Mental Health
  9. Taskforce meeting tonight 8/10. We will review the CHIP and talk about capacity of the group to address CHIP action steps.
  10. Robbin would like someone from Pawnee to be part of the Access and Coordination of Services workgroup.
  11. Robbin will talk with the Mental Taskforce about making their meeting minutes available to the public.
  12. Transportation
  13. Want to call the group active transportation or transportation? A decision still needs to be made.
  14. Start adding 30 minutes onto TAC meeting to work on the CHIP action steps. Expand and invite others who are interested in the CHIP plan.
  15. A Co-chair would be helpful but who would it be?
  16. Jared has and intern would could be the social media Rep. Jared send Julie the interns name so she can add them as an admin.
  17. Access and Coordination of Services (ACS)
  18. The workgroup met for the first time on July 18th. To address access and coordination of services, we discussed the possibility of implementing a Community Care Teams model and have invited a consultant familiar with previous CCT efforts to meet with us at our next meeting. Thanks to Connie's research, we discovered and learned from similar efforts implemented in Riley County in the late 90s.
  19. Robbin informed the group that the Chamber has a small taskforce working on lack of primary care. Lee wolf, Bob Copel, Scott Champman, Larry (Meadow Lark) and Robbin participate.
  20. Lee Wolf is interested in the ACS group and could be the link
  21. Tobacco
  22. Start a group to look at the clean air act and renewal of our local ordinance.
  23. Deb provided a list of those involved last time. Who else should be involved this time? Arron Swank- K-State, other K-State? Pawnee Substance abuse. Please send Julie names or update on the FHWC google doc member list.
  24. Get the group together in September

4.  Review Guidelines/Bylaws

  1. Clarify leadership team roles/structure and workgroup roles/structure. Add something about CHIP reporting and communication.

  1. Voter engagement grant
  2. Goes hand in hand with the Health Equity grant
  3. Who makes sense as the fiscal agent? League of women voters? MAPJ? Making Change? Julie will send Brandon the League of Women Voters contact the Health Department has.
