Description of Classes

Play Training & Tricks: Any age dog, any level can learn-to-learn by use of operant conditioning with play, fun tricks and games to start off a good foundation geared to any type of competition. This class is ideal for young dogs, older dogs that lack attitude/drive or other dogs needing a new outlet. Participants should be willing & able to work each week in order to progress accordingly.

Competition Novice: must have goals of trialing in Novice and obtaining scores up to maximumcapability. THIS IS NOT A HOW TO TEACH OR BEGINNER LEVEL DOG TRAINING CLASS! Dogs should already be proficient in all the Novice exercises including stays. No substitutes for dogs in class. This class breaks down exercises to focus on proper handling, proofing all exercises and improving performance. This is a class geared towards teams who want to compete successfully in Novice. Competition minded teams ONLY!

Competition Utility: must have at least a CDX title or instructor approval without titles. Some "how to" instruction offered for exercises. Handlers must be able to work on and be willing to challenge the various exercises each week.

Private Lessons and Drop Ins: One-hour Privates can be scheduled on Mondays as well asother days dependingonMissi’s schedule. Privates are for any level team wanting one-on-one attention or for training that doesn’t fit into class structure, such as Open.
