Quick Setup Guide

  • Slide the guitar neck into the guitar body as shown below. Make sure nothing is caught between the neck and body while assembling.

  • To detach the guitar neck from the body, press the connect button and simultaneously pull out the neck.

(1) Install batteries

  • Remove the battery cover on the bottom of the guitar and insert 2 AA batteries. Be sure they are inserted correctly. Then, replace the cover.

IMPORTANT: Always replace the battery cover to prevent moisture, dirt, dust or other foreign matter from entering the battery compartment.

(2) Connect the receiver

  • Insert the USB plug of the wireless receiver into a USB port on your PS3. The connection indicator light on the receiver will illuminate green and flash slowly.

(3) Choose the right game setting on the receiver

  • Choose the right setting on the receiver for the game that you want to play. Slide the switch to position 1 for Rock Band or position 2 for Guitar Hero.

Do not use position 3. This is for Rock Band on the Nintendo Wii. If you would like to use the guitar with your Nintendo Wii, please read the Wii version of this manual which is included with the guitar.

(4) Connect the guitar

Make sure the guitar is switched on by sliding the power switch on the underside to the ON position.

Press the guitar’s SYNC button once.

After a few seconds, the guitar’s connection LEDs will stop flashing and one will stay illuminated, indicating that the guitar has synchronized with the receiver.

If connection fails, make sure your operation is right and repeat the above steps.

(5) Insert your game disc and play

Insert your Rock Band™ or Guitar Hero™ disc, ensuring it matches your setting from section 2.

You are now ready to use the guitar in your game.
