South Jersey Pumpkin Show 2017
Salem County Fairgrounds, New Jersey; The 14th annual South Jersey Pumpkin Showwill open on October 13, 14 & 15, 2017. This three days“Festival of Pumpkins” will be held at the Salem County Fairgrounds, 735 Harding Highway, Woodstown, New Jersey. The event has new show hours of Friday, 5pm to 10pm, Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 5pm. The South Jersey Pumpkin Show is a completely self-supporting festival made possible by the sponsors, vendors and $5.00 parking fee. Thank you for your continue support of a festival that is family and pet friendly. Thousands of dollars from the proceeds of the festival have been donated to educational scholarships and non-profits.
The South Jersey Pumpkin Show has become one of the best ways to welcome the autumn harvest with your family and pets alike. Festival goers visiting will enjoy pumpkin desserts, 100+ artists & craftsmen,Salem County Fall Home Show, fun contests, give-a-ways, Pumpkin Toss, live bands, wine sampling, festival food court, NJ Largest Baked Pumpkin Pie, pony rides and hayrides around the fairgrounds. Vote for your favorite hand-crafted scarecrows; winners announced on Sunday afternoon.
New for 2017 is the “Fall Festival of Trees Exhibit” and contest. Colorful trees will be decorated in Halloween, Thanksgiving and Autumn themes. Tree lighting will be held indoors at 7:30pm on Friday, October 13 and tree exhibit will be on display until closing Sunday, October 15. Live and artificial trees will vary in size from tabletop to 7ft tall. Contest is open to adults, clubs and groups.
Opening night will showcase the sculpturing of a 500+ pound pumpkin by a professional carver. Come learn tips and watch a masterpiece being created. The reading of Sleepy Hollow legend and the arrival of the Headless Horsemenwill take place in the graveyard with two performances. Kids under ten will enjoy free craft making, amusement rides, free pumpkins, trick or treating stroll, straw garden and Halloween treat bags.
The All Breed Fun Dog Parade, Decorated Fall Baby Strollers and Halloween Costume Contests are free to enter and everyone receives a ribbon and goody bag for participating. The best pumpkin desserts and appetizers are being sought for the Fun Pumpkin Food contest and free sampling held on Saturday.
The Little Miss & Mister Pumpkin Pageant for girls and boys will be held on Sunday at 2pm, for kids ages 4-9 years old from South Jersey.
The Salem County Fairgrounds is in the rich farm lands of Salem County and located just a few miles from Delaware Memorial Bridge. Admissions is free, parking $5.00 a carload and good all three days of the festival. Free shopping bags, free trick or treat bags, free pumpkins/gourds first 200 kids daily. Festival details and regulations
Check In: Upon arrival to fairgrounds check in at the fairgrounds office. Booth assignment at check in.
Setup: Thursday, October 12th, noon to 8 pm, Friday, October 13th, 10am to 4:00pm only. Show opens promptly at 5:00pm. Setup of booths must be complete at show opening and must remain set up and open for business until the show closing each day. Exhibitor shall be liable for all storage and handling charges resulting from failure to remove exhibit material from the festival before the specified conclusion set by BKE. Booths and aisles must be kept clear for safe access throughout show hours. Parking: All vendors must park in designated areas.
Overhead lighting and electric: Overhead lighting in all buildings, awnings and pavilions will be provided. Standard electric outlets available for no additional charge.
Loading/Unloading: Pull up to locations. Unload and move vehicle to vendor parking area.
Admission to event is free! There will be a $5.00 parking fee to everyone that attends the show. Each 10 x 10 booth space will receive (2) weekend parking passes. Vendors may purchase extra passes in advance or at check in! Event runs rain or shine! No refunds for any reason.
Contests: Vendors and vendors families are permitted to participate in the many fun filled contests happening at the South Jersey Pumpkin Show. THE EXHIBITOR UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES AS FOLLOWS
1.B & K Enterprises t/a South Jersey Pumpkin Show™, further known as BKE its agents, officers, or employees shall not be liable for property damage or personal injury to Exhibitor, its agents or employees, which may occur on or about any part of the subject premises, regardless of how such injury or damage may have occurred. Exhibitor waives any claim against BKE. The Vendor/Exhibitor assumes all liability for loss or damage to Exhibitor’s property entrusted to the premises. Exhibitor shall hold BKE harmless and shall indemnify BKE against all liability or expenses arising of any claim of injury or damage any person or property, together with all costs in connection with defense thereto, including attorney’s fees. Show Dates: October 13-15, 2017, Salem County Fairground, 735 Rte. 40, and Woodstown NJ 08098.

3.Reassignment of space: BKE retains the right to reallocate space assigned to the exhibitor in the best interest of the Exhibit, for among other reasons, to affect balance against congestion, to avoid confusion in firm or trade names, to solve competitive conditions or similar reasons.
4.Subletting and assignment: Exhibitor may not sublet or assign his exhibit space, nor any part thereof, nor exhibit, nor offer for sale or advertise any articles of a non-exhibiting company.
5.Cancellation: The event runs rain or shine. BKE offers no refunds for any reasons. Balances due not paid by September 26th, 2014 will be considered forfeited. All deposits will be forfeited and booth spaces will be reassigned. BKE reserves the right to reassign canceled booth space regardless of cancellation assessment.
6.BKE reserves the right to eject or bar persons and to close exhibits or part of exhibits, which are in violation of any paragraph in the contract. The provision applies to displays, literature, advertising, novelties, souvenirs, Exhibitor’s conduct, etc. BKE may demand removal by an Exhibitor of any items that may not be in keeping with show’s image.
8.Exhibitor parking passes. Two parking passes will be supplied to exhibitor at check in. These passes are for working sales representatives only, not for friends or families. Exhibitor must use a pass each day to enter event. Before and during all show hours. Failure to comply will result in a general $5.00 per carload parking fee. Extra parking passes are available for sale by pre-ordering on the contract.
