SWIM MEET
PARSONS, KANSAS
June 28-29, 2014
Location:Parsons Municipal Pool, 200 S. Heacock, Parsons, KS
Facility:8 lane, 25-yard outdoor pool with Colorado Timing System with scoreboard. Playground, park, and lots of areas for tents.
Time:The meet will begin at 9:00 a.m. both days. Warm-up times will be assigned by the Meet Director beginning at 7:30 am. Officials meeting at 8:30 a.m. Coaches meeting at 8:45 a.m. Timers meeting just before the meet.
Type of Meet: Open meet. All heats will be timed finals. Heats will be seeded according to the registration times. Swimmers without times will be seeded last.
Entry Limit:4 individual events plus one relay per day.
Entries:Entries should be submitted to the host team no later than June 24th at 8:00 p.m. Submit entries to Kanak Patel
Entry Fees:$2.00 individual and $5.00 relays. Deck entries will be accepted if space is available for $4.00 individual and $10.00 relays. Checks should be payable to PDST.
ScratchesScratches and Deck Entries will be accepted no later than 8:30 a.m. There will be no refunds for scratches.
Awards:Individual: 1st – 3rd place medals; 4th- 8th place ribbons. Individual high point trophies for each age group for each gender.
Relays: 1st – 3rd place medals; 4th – 8th place ribbons.
Teams: 1st – 3rd place trophies.
Heat Sheets:Available at the swim meet for $5.00.
Concessions:Concessions will be on sale both days of the meet.
Rules:Tri-State Conference Rules and USA Swimming rules will be followed, including Tri-State Conference warm-up rules.
Official:Anyone willing to help should contact the Meet Director before the day of the meet or on the day of the meet.
Officials will be appointed by PDST. Each team will be expected to provide timers for the meet.
