STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE
STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL
PUBLIC RELATIONS LIAISON
1.0 Public Relations
1.1 To keep the students informed about IMU/SRC’s activities.
1.2 Along with the other SRC members, to represent IMU SRC in internal and external events.
1.3 Help chair and take the role of the Master of Ceremony in some official IMU events.
1.4 To maintain Rent/Sale link on SRC website and FB along with the help of other SRC members in the approval of students’ applications.
1.5 To update student body on discounts and help with maintaining commitments.
2.0 Student Lounge
2.1 To ensure the development and maintenance of the IMU Student Lounge.
2.2 To ensure the Board games and card games are in good condition and returned by students.
2.3 To ensure the ground rules of the Student Lounge is adhered to.
3.0 Gymnasium & Dance Room
3.1 To ensure the condition and state of the rooms are in good condition.
4.0 SRC display boards and club boards by escalator
4.1 Update the SRC board on current and upcoming news and help in promoting clubs using allocated boards.
5.0 Physical Development and Progress Committee
5.1 To work with the president and the IMU corporate body in issues related to IMU physical development, progress and safety.
6.0 Office Necessities
6.1 Along with other SRC members, to ensure the equipments, stationeries, furniture and other miscellaneous necessities are adequate.
7.0 Feedback
7.1 To respond to General feedbacks and complaints of the IMU population.
7.2 To address and forward complaints to respective departments.
8. International partner schools
8.1 Keep in contact with partner schools to help build relationships between councils and to help smooth transition of IMU students.
9. Cafeteria and Food and Beverage Kiosks
9.1 To attend the Canteen/Cafe Committee Meeting. (Members from SRC in the committee are the President and PR Liasion)
9.2 To collect suggestions or any comments from the students regarding the Canteen/Cafe food or service from the students regularly.
9.3 To help publicize any new additions to the menu of the caterers.
