The above classes are for 3 graduate credits from the University of San Diego and for reclassification and/or recertification. Announcement posted in the main office for more information.
To All 7th and 8th Grade Teachers: Ellen Amar, GWHS, will be doing some paper recycling in your classroom in the near future. This is for his year long project for GWHS, Marine Biology. Boxes will be placed in your classes to store paper for recycling, he will pick up the boxes once a week. Any questions, please call 483-7825. Thank you and please help keep our environment clean.
GTA YELLOWBOOK invites all public, private, and federal schools on Guam to participate in the GTA YELLOWBOOK Phone Book Round Up. Don’t let an old phone book go to waste. Recycle it! New GTA YELLOWBOOKS will be distributed in January, which means many old books will end up in the landfill or the boonies unless they are recycled. Prizes will be based on the total number of phone books collected. Contest runs from January 1 through Feb. 16, 2009. Announcement posted in the office for more information. Team leaders were given copies!

November 28, 2008 – Make Every Day Earth Day. Our entire school community will be involved in an effort to beautify the campus grounds. Notices for the step by step process for this day were placed in your teachers’ box on Tues. 11/18 afternoon. Teachers, please review the schedule with your students and be sure you are in your assigned areas on the map. In addition, this day will be a “dress-down day,” students are reminded to follow the appropriate attire guidelines in the student planner.
CALLING ALL GROUPS, Homeroom classes, clubs, friends, teams, to sign-up for the upcoming, "Christmas with the Cats,"talentshow. It will be held in the 8th grade courtyard on December 10, 2008 beginning at 5:30 p.m. In addition, groups are welcome to sell food, gifts, etc. with proper activity request form available on Ms. Quinata's door. Sign-up sheet for performances is directly next to the teacher mailboxes in the main office. Come out and show your talents before 2008 in gone!!! 2009 here we come!

December 19, 2008: School Wide Geography Bee Competition. Social Studies Dept. will be sponsoring this event. It will be held on campus during last period of the day. Students will be selected by team teachers for participation.
Any student “watching” a fight/sparing match will be suspended. Your responsibility as an excellent Wildcat is to leave the scene and report it immediately to an adult on campus. Failure to leave the scene and report the incident indicates your support of this behavior which constitutes instigating a fight. Especially since it has come to our attention that students watching the “fight” are encouraging and telling student s to “fight already! Hurry Up!”
8C Jaguars interested in receiving additional instruction time for Pre-Algebra, please pick up parent permission forms from Ms. Pama. Tutoring will be held Monday to Friday after school from 3:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Rm. 22.Ms. Pama
Guam Community College Foundation & Guam Museum Foundation, Inc. is having a 2008 Christmas Tree Sale. Trees will be available November 28 while supplies last. Funds will support GCC scholarships and museum building project. Order forms and a flier will be posted in the main office for your use.
