NEWSLETTER WEEK ENDING 3rd MARCH 2017

WEDNESDAY WORD – LENT

CLASS 4 ASSEMBLY – took place today. The theme was Fairtrade. Well done to all the children who gave a very interesting explanation of the need for fair trade for banana farmers and the impact fair trade has on their lives. Thank you to all the visitors and for the donations made to Fairtrade from the parent coffee morning after the assembly. The staff also held a coffee morning to raise more money to donate to Fairtrade.

CLASS 3 ASSEMBLY- is next Friday, 10th March at 9.10 am in the school hall. All family and friends are welcome.

WORLD BOOK DAY - All of the children (and staff) looked amazing! The majority of the children had really thought carefully about their choice of character. The children were able to recognise the importance of reading and the positive impact it has on all other areas of the curriculum. Thank you for your support.

See our website and twitter for photographs of the day.
