1.7 Press Center

Media center is located in the Competition Center. Fax, copy services and internet access are provided for media representatives. Also wireless internet is available near CC with network name: WC2008

1.8 Accreditation Cards

Accreditation cards will be provided for competitors, team leaders and media representatives, according to their national final entries. The cards will be handed out at the time of accreditation in the Competition Center. The accreditation card has to be carried during the whole event time to guarantee transport and access to the event areas.

1.9 Insurance

Competitors participate at their own risk. According to the national regulations, insurance against accidents shall be upon the responsibility of their national federation or themselves.

1.10 Internet Access

Internet club is located in Gorskoto. Also wireless internet is available near CC – the network name is: WC2008

1.11 Medical Service and emergency

During all races medical assistance will be available at the finish. In Dospat the emergency number for hospital is - 150 and for police – 166

1.12 Prize Giving

For all competition events there will be flower ceremonies at the finish area.

The official prize giving ceremonies will be held at the center of Dospat for sprint, middle distance and relay, but for the long distance will be at hotel Diamant, please refer to the program for detailed information.

1.13 National Flags

All national teams are requested to bring one national flag (recommended size 100 x 150 cm) in case of multiple runners on the podium. The flag has to be handed over at the Competition center when accreditation takes place.

1.14 Complaints and Protests

According to IOF Rules for Ski Orienteering events, complaints can be made by team officials and competitors. Any complaint shall be made in writing and handed over to the organizer at the local CC in the Competition Center as soon as possible. Complaints regarding the results shall be made no later than 15 minutes after publication of the official results list.

A written protest can be made against the Organizers’ decision about a complaint.

1.15 Doping Control

Current IOF doping rules apply. Doping controls may be carried out at any time during the competition period.

The Organizers and participants are committed to do everything required to support the official anti-doping authorities to do their work successfully and transparently. We strongly support all efforts to keep our sport clean and doping-free.

2.3 Embargoed Areas

The area around Shiroka Polyana and Beglika is restricted for the time between September 1, 2007 and February 20, 2008, except of places opened during the official training camp.
