Dear OU Health Sciences Center Student:

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Student Health & Wellness Clinic (SHWC). The clinic is operated by OU Physicians, an accredited organization by theAccreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). We consider it our mission to provide state-of-the-art medical care to all eligible patients. Our patient-centered medical home philosophy empowers students to be advocates for their own health and wellness. We provide wrap-around services and comprehensive treatment programs by certified medical professionals to meet our students’ health needs. We look forward to serving you and hope you will choose us as your medical home. Together, as partners, we will work to help you achieve a high level of wellness while completing your degree.   • Hours of operation: Monday-Friday | 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Location: OU Physicians Building, Suite 4A, 825 N.E. 10th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73104
  • Parking: Complimentary valet parking is available to patients at the main entrance of the OU Physicians building. Patient parking is also available in the Williams Pavilion parking garage.
  • All patients seen in the clinic are required to sign-up for the OU Physicians patient portal, where test results, immunizations, and other medical information will be posted. The portal link can be accessed at the following link: myoumedicine.com

  • We strongly recommend that you schedule a Wellness exam (non-invasive general preventive exam) as soon as practical to establish yourself as a patient and discuss your past medical history and any anticipated needs, so that if youlater need an acute illness or injury appointment it can be as quick and efficient as possible.

During the time that you are enrolled as a student, your Student Health Fee pays for the following services provided at the Student Health & Wellness Clinic: Acute urgent careoffice visit as well as most labs and x-rays associated with the acute care visit, and TB skin testing.All other services will be billed to the student’s personal health insurance plan.

Per Board of Regents policy, all HSC students are required to have health insurance while enrolled at OUHSC. Students may purchase the OUHSC Student Health Insurance Policy or a comparable policy from another carrier. The SHWC staff will request and photocopy your student ID and health insurance card at each visit to ensure the correct coverage. An insurance claim will be filed for services provided to you at the SHWC not covered by the Student Health Fee.

Any amount not paid by the Student Health Fee or your health insurance policy will be your responsibility. Any questions regarding the OUHSC Student Health Insurance Policy should be directed to Academic Health Plans at 1-888-924-7758 or email .
