  1. To seek the views of the Executive on the Environment Scrutiny Panel’s Final Reporton Footpath repairs.

BACKGROUND AND EXTERNAL CONSULTATION

  1. The Environment Scrutiny Panel as part of the agreed scrutiny procedures had its final report on Footpath Repairs approved by the Overview and Scrutiny Board. Also as part of that process the matter has subsequently been considered by the Corporate Management Team (CMT). The Panel’s final report (Appendix 1) and the Service response (Appendix 2) are attached to this report.
  1. CMT, in consideration of this matter, agreed to support the attached service response.

RECOMMENDATIONS

  1. The Executive need to take a decision on the Scrutiny Panel’s recommendations in light of the service response and consideration of this matter by the Corporate management Team.
