Attendees: Danbury(1), Wizards(1),Northern Lights(1), West Hartford(3), Southern(1), Yale(2), Hamden(2), Pawling(2), Ridgefield(1), Shoreline(1), Darien(1), Polar Bears(2), Wallingford(1), Brewster(4), Greenwich Panthers(1), Gary LaChance, Lou Cassella, Don Lockyer

Missing: Skyliners (NY), Simsbury

Meeting Began: 7:30pm

Don Lockyer accepted the minutes from theprevious meeting, Northern Lights (Amy) 2ndand all approved.

Treasurers Report: $2,100.00 Balance and all debits from previous season are paid. $400.00 from 19u tournament will be added into the balance.

Looking at $1,000.00 per team for season fees due before 12/31/2013. There will be $100.00 late fee after 12/31/2013. Invoices can be found in the “documents” tab on the CGHL site.

New Business:

Teams petitioning membership in the CGHL

*Greenwich Panthers U12, Tom (Southern) Accepted, Nicole (Danbury) and Bill (Shoreline) 2nd, All Approved

*Brewster U14A and U12A at the U14 level, Ted (Hamden) Accepted, Jeff (Darien) 2nd, All Approved

*Polar Bears U12B, Amy (NLs) Accepted, Chris (Wallingford) 2nd, All approved

*Skyliners U14 team, non tournament bound, will reevaluate at November meeting. Provisional due to players playing on boys teams and to see the strength of the team.

Teams petitioning to play down

  • West Hartford U16 is interested in playing down in the U14 level. Only two 15 yr old players that are average skaters. Bill (Shoreline) accepted, Ted (Hamden) 2nd, all approved.

Teams petitioning for players to play down

  • Darien Ice Cats asked to play U16 goalie down on U14 level, all approved
  • Shoreline asked for 15 yr old to play down on U14 level, she misses the age cut off by 5 days, all approved
  • Wallingford asked for 15 yr old to play down, all approved
  • Danbury asked for first time player age 15 to play down, all approved.

Old Business:

Declaration of U12 and U14 teams needs to be put in immediately, please email your declaration to Gary.

Discussion of game cancellation policy is tabled until September meeting.

Discussion of Election of Officers and Board for 2013-2014 season tabled until September meeting.
