Agricultural Adjustment Administration (AAA): (1933) A U.S. Federal law of the New Deal era which reduced agricultural production by paying farmers subsides not to plant on part of their land and to kill off excess livestock.
Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC): (1933)
A public work program for unemployed, unmarried men from relief families. It was one of the most successful New Deal programs, it left a legacy of roads, bridges, and buildings throughout the U.S.

Home Owners Loan Corporation (HOLC) (1933)
Allowed people to refinance their homes in order to prevent foreclosure
National Labor Relations Board (NLRB)
(1935) new labor law sought to govern relations between unions, employees, and employers, guarantee employees the right to organize and bargain collectively.
National Recovery Administration (NRA) (1933) Boost declining prices, helping businesses and workers – bringing the industry, labor and government together to create codes of “fair practices” and set prices. [higher wages – higher prices – no more buyers]
National Youth Administration (NYA) (1935) Providing work and education for Americans between the ages of 16-25 years old.
Public Works Administration (PWA)
(1933)Budgeted several billion dollars to be spent on construction of public work.
Rural Electrification Administration (REA)
(1935) provided farms with inexpensive electricity.
Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)
Holds primary responsibility for enforcing the federal security laws, proposing security rules, and regulating the securities (1934)
Social Security Board (SSB) – government agency created in 1935 by Roosevelt that administered the social insurance programs in the United States covers a wide range of social security services
Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA): (1933)
Provides navigation, flood control, electricity generation, fertilizer manufacturing, and economic development to the Tennesse valley, a region particularly affected by the Great Depression.
