Eyefinity and VisionStar Announce Launch of Lab Management Software
Integration for Vision Star Customers
FOLSOM, CA, February 17, 2004 -- Eyefinity, the optical industry’s most widely used Internet portal, and VisionStar a leading developer of optical software applications for Optical Laboratory production and business management have announced the completion of production testing on the Eyefinity-integrated VisionStar LMS system. The fully integrated lab management software system, now available to VisionStar customers, provides streamlined lab order processing and tracking of prescription orders from the Eyefinity web site to the VisionStar LMS system.
Eyecare providers using Eyefinity can now transmit orders and receive timely order status via a VisionStar LMS system. The VisionStar LMS system will also transmit shipped order status to the Eyefinity website, which will initiate billing and payment of the VSP order at the laboratory.
