COURSE DESCRIPTION: Geometryis the branch of mathematics that deals with the measurement, properties and relationships of points, lines, angles, surfaces, and solids. The word means (geo) earth (metry) measure. Geometry also deals with logic. Using inductive and deductive reasoning is an integral part of geometric thinking. Geometry is closely connected to other branches of mathematics such as Algebra, Logic, Probability, and Trigonometry. Real life applications of geometry will be evident throughout the course
