Criteria for the Edgar B. Hatrick, III Scholarship for
Future Leaders in Education
This scholarship is for LCPS employees that are seeking an Administrative Degree (Administration and Supervision License).
LCPS employees applying for this scholarship must:
· Have worked or taught 3 complete years in Loudoun County Public Schools.
· Be seeking a degree in Administration and Educational Leadership or
Administration and Supervision.
· Have demonstrated leadership in education.
Scholarship recipients must:
· Agree to work two years in Loudoun County Public Schools after they receive their license.
· Receive their endorsement within 3 years of receiving the scholarship.
· Achieve at least a B grade in all courses.
The Foundation will consider applicants not yet enrolled in a program, but applicants must plan on starting the program within six months of receiving the scholarship. Failure to be accepted into an accredited program in six months after receiving the scholarship will revoke the scholarship and funds will go back to the Loudoun Education Foundation.
