PRESS RELEASE

Incledon is the proud recipient of a top Grundfos award

28 August, 2012: Leading fluid conveyance and pumping solutions expert Incledon has received the ‘Top Distributor in South Africa Award’ from the African division of internationally recognised pump manufacturer Grundfos.

Incledon surpassed a number of larger competitors to obtain the highly respected award, which was issued at a special ceremony hosted at the Water Institute of Southern Africa (WISA) conference, which took place in Cape Town on 9 May 2012.

Grundfos Africa general manager Jonathan Hamp-Adams explains that the company established the awards ceremony in 2008 to recognise the contributions made by its Africa-based clients operating in the building, industrial, waste water and water treatment sectors. “The awards ceremony is an important method of displaying our gratitude to customers that have made a positive contribution to the Grundfos brand,” he says.

With regards to the ‘Top Distributor in South Africa Award’, Hamp-Adams highlights the fact that consistency in sales numbers was one of the most important aspects that Incledon excelled in. “Incledon displayed a strong consistency is sales numbers over a two year period, and the company has proven itself to be a professional and loyal Grundfos distributor,” he continues.

Hamp-Adams adds that Incledon’s high level of inventory and strong marketing performance were also deciding factors. “Incledon has displayed a willingness to hold large amounts of inventory to ensure quick turnaround times in the supply of Grundfos products. This has ensured considerable growth in supply in the Free State region, however the Cape Town and Johannesburg branches proved to be consistent performers too.”

Incledon pumps division national product manager Romeo Giannone points out that the company is extremely proud and honoured to receive the accolade. “It is a huge achievement for Incledon to have been recognised as the best overall Distributor for Grundfos in South Africa, especially considering the extensive competition that the company was up against. This speaks volumes for the dedication and professionalism of the Incledon team, over a two year measured period, who are deserved winners of the award.”

Incledon specialises in the supply of Grundfos pumps to the residential, golf course, light commercial building, civils and mining pressurisation industries, in addition to having sold the renowned SP borehole pumps into the agricultural market. Giannone believes that the award will assist Incledon in becoming a preferred distributor of choice of the Grundfos range of products to the market. “By presenting this award to Incledon, Grundfos has displayed its confidence in the company as a trusted and competent distributor of the Grundfos product ranges. This is vitally important in a highly competitive industry, and places Incledon in a strong position to gain market share and expand its geographical footprint in the long term future,” he concludes.
