October 23 - 27, 2017

I hope you all have a great weekend!

***If your child hasn't created his/her read-a-thon account, please do so! This is very important for our school. It's easy to do - create the account and then share information with family and friends. Family and friends can sponsor your child for any amount of money - even $5.00. Every single dollar helps. Our booster club is working very hard to support our school by providing much needed resources - extra library money, paying for computer programs, providing the children with nice playground equipment, etc. Please support the booster club, so they can continue to do all that they do for the children of HCC.

This site will be updated weekly. You can also join Remind 101. The Remind 101 will be texted out when there is achange of schedule or an important event coming up. I will not send out daily homework reminders. Homework for each class will be written on the board. All students need to write this down each day.

I will include a lot of information about lit. circles as well as information on the G2 project that will be due in December from their literature circle book. Remember - this book is NOT something we're reading together in class. This is for independent reading. Your child MAY read this during our daily AR time and can also take it home to read at night and on the weekends. He/she will know how much reading is needed for each week. He/she will also need to complete a role sheet and be prepared to share during weekly litereature circle meetings.
