1. PROJECT RATIONALE AND OBJECTIVES
Describe theknowledge gap(s) and industry need for your research proposal, demonstrating how the project objectives and use of the Aquatron facility will address one or more of the research priorities (refer to RFP for list of three (3) key research priorities), and benefit(s) to the sector. Please provide relevant background information (e.g. literature references, industry insights, studies, etc.) to substantiate that the proposed research is justified, relevant and timely.

2. PROJECT PLAN, TEAM AND KEY MILESTONES
Describe the project plan and proposed methodology.Describeeach partner’s roles/responsibilities, as well as the participation of students. Provide a project schedule including the key milestones and deliverables.

3. AQUATRON TESTING COMPONENT
Describe how the Aquatron facility will be used (e.g. testing technologies, techniques, methodologies, proof of concept, prototypes, technology adaptations, etc.). Describe any pre-project or mid-project tank or equipment configurations, modifications or installations. Add any technical details that may be helpful for Aquatron staff to prepare the facility for project implementation. Please provide confirmation that your project idea has been reviewed by an Aquatron staff member to assess feasibility and suitablility (e.g. email attachment).

4. LEVERAGE FUNDING
List/describe the cash and/or in-kind funding that has been secured and/or is anticipated as leverage contributions toward total project costs. Please providetheorganization/partnername, leverage type (cash or in-kind) and estimated dollar value. Include any planned or current applications to federal government funding programs, anticipated timelines, and if any, expected challenges to securing these funds. Leverage funding should be incorporated into the budget in Section 6.

5. LOCAL NOVA SCOTIA CONTENT
Provide brief details how you plan to engage with and/or use Nova Scotia content to develop and execute the project. Local content may include partnering with Nova Scotia organizations, First Nations participation, use of local services, suppliers, use of other testing facilitiesand expertise, etc.

6. PROJECT BUDGET AND VALUE
Provide a budget for the project, divided by the tasks described in the project plan. Please includeleverage funding(secured and/or anticipated) in a separate column from OERA-requested funding. Further, please refer to Addendum A in the RFP for Aquatron pricing to help with budget preparation.
