VITALITY READING HALF MARATHON IS FEELING THE LOVE

Race entries have re-opened today for one week only!

The most romantic day of the year may have come and gone but we’re still feeling the love for the Reading Half Marathon, as race organisers announced today that entries have re-opened for a limited time only. The event will take registrations from 17th February until the 23rd February due to popular demand, so you lucky runners have one week to sign up and takethe opportunity to be part of one of the most esteemed races in the country.

With a picturesque route and fantastic support from the local community, this high profile race on the 3rd April is the perfect half marathon experience for newcomers and regulars alike. The fast, flat course provides runners with the highlights of the Reading towncentreas well as the beautiful grounds of the University campus – guaranteed to spur runners on with the added buzz of huge crowd support. The race culminates in a finish rarely found outside an Olympic stadium with an amazing 15,000 people cheering you into the Madjeski Stadium and across the finish line. In addition to this, runners in this year’s Vitality Reading Half Marathon will be treated to a stunning medal that holds a spinning lion centre-piece that represents the Maiwand Lion war memorial in Forbury Gardens; a striking souvenir of their achievement on the day.
