2. ThisrecruitmentisbeingmadeaspertheprovisionsoftheAndhraPradeshState ProsecutionServiceRules,1992issuedbytheGovernmentofAndhraPradeshinG.O.Ms. No 188 Home (Courts.C)Department dated 30-03-1992 and the amendments thereon.
3. Thequotaearmarkedforphysicallyhandicappedpersonsinthesaidrules,shall, however,be filled in onlybyorthopaedicallyhandicapped persons whosespeech, hearing and sight arenot impaired.
4. TherecruitmentisbeingmadetothepostsofAssistantPublicProsecutorsinAndhra
PradeshStateProsecutionServiceonzonalbasisanditissubjecttooutcomeofS.L.P.Nos.
28458-60 of2008 and otherSLPs/WPs/OAs pending, if any.
5. Relaxationinupperagelimit(asgiveninpara8(A)(b)(i))and/orreservation to‘BC-E group’ or‘anycategoryinBC-Egroup’ will be subject tothe adjudicationof thelitigation pending before theHonourableCourts.
6. GovernmenthaveissuedinG.O.Ms.No.3, BackwardClassesWelfare(C2) Department dated04-04-2006,laying downthe criteriato determine Creamy Layer amongBackwardClassesinordertoexclude from theprovisionsofreservations. Government ofAndhraPradeshhasadoptedallthe criteriato determine the Creamy LayeramongBackwardClassesasfixedbytheGovernmentofIndia.TheGovernment
ofAndhra Pradesh havefixedtheannual incomelimitatRs. 4,00,000/-.

Minimum EducationalQualification:Thecandidatemustpossess,asonthedateof notification i.e., 08-03-2013, a Bachelor degree in anysubject along with a Bachelor’s DegreeinLawawardedby any University inIndia,establishedorincorporatedby orundera CentralAct,ProvincialActora StateActor ofanyInstitutionrecognised by theUniversity GrantsCommissionoranyotherequivalentqualification.Thecandidateswhohavepassed fiveyear coursein law afterIntermediate are alsoeligible
C. Experience:
i) Forpost codeno. 41: The candidatemust havepracticedas anadvocate for not less than seven (7)years as on dateofnotification i.e., 08-03-2013.
ii) Forpost codeno. 42: The candidatemust havepracticedas anadvocate for notlessthanthree(3)years active practice in Criminal Courtsinthe State as on dateofnotification i.e., 08-03-2013.
Note: Aspersubsection9ofSection24oftheCodeofCriminalProcedure,1973,the periodduringwhichapersonhasbeeninpracticeasaPleaderorhasrendered(whether before or after the commencementof this Code) service asa Public Prosecutor orasan AdditionalPubic ProsecutororAsst.PublicProsecutororotherProsecutingOfficer,by whatever name called,shallbedeemedto betheperiodduring whichsuchpersonhasbeenin practiceas anadvocate.
D. Medical Standards:

9. As perthe provisions of “The Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (Organisation of Localcadresandregulationof directrecruitment) Order,1975”,the rule of reservationtolocalcandidatesisnotapplicable.Interviewwillcarry a maximum of25 marks.

16. Reservation to local candidates: Reservation to local candidates is applicable as providedintheRulesandasamendedfromtimetotime asinforce onthedate ofnotification. The candidatesclaimingreservationaslocalcandidatesshouldenclosethe required Study certificates(fromIVclasstoXclassorSSC). ResidenceCertificateintheproformaonly should be enclosed forthose candidateswho havenot studied in anyEducationalInstitutions.
Definitionoflocal candidate:
(i)“LocalCandidate”meansacandidatefordirectrecruitmenttoany postinrelationtothat Localareawherehe/shehasstudied inEducational Institution(s)fornotlessthanfour consecutiveacademicyearsprior toandincludingtheyear inwhichhe/sheappearedfor SSC or its equivalent examination. If however, he/she has not studied in any educational institutionduring theabovefouryearsperiod,itisenoughifhe/shehas residedinthatarea which is claimed as his/herlocal areaduringtheabovesaid period.
(ii)Incasethecandidatedoesnotfallwithinthe scopeoftheaboveitwillbeconsideredif he/shehasstudiedforaperiodofnotlessthansevenyearspriortoandinclusiveoftheyear inwhichhe/she hasstudiedforthe maximumperiodoutofthe saidperiodofsevenyearsand wheretheperiodofhis/herstudy intwoormorelocalareasareequalsuchlocalareawhere he/shehasstudiedlast(insuchlocalarea)willbetakenfordetermining thelocalcandidature. Similarly,ifhe/shehasnotstudiedduringtheabovesaidperiodinany Educational Institution(s)theplace ofresidenceduring theaboveperiodwillbetakenintoconsideration and localcandidaturedetermined with thereferenceto themaximum period of residenceorin the caseof equal periodwherehe/shehas residedlast.
(iii)Iftheclaimforlocalcandidature isbasedonstudy,the candidate isrequiredtoproduce a certificatefromtheEducationalInstitution(s)wherehe/shehasstudiedduring thesaid4/7 yearperiodAnnexure-II(A). If,however,itisbasedonresidence,acertificateshouldbe submittedasprescribedinAnnexure-II (B)obtainedfromanofficeroftheRevenue Departmentnotbelow the rankof a Mandal Revenue Officer inindependentcharge of a Mandal.
(iv) If, however, acandidatehas resided in morethan oneMandal duringtherelevant four/seven yearsperiodbutwithinthesameZoneseparatecertificatesfromtheMandal RevenueOfficers exercisingjurisdiction has to beobtained in respect ofdifferentareas.

20.
