October 2017

Dear Parent/Guardian

CERN – October 2018

The Science Department has an amazing opportunity to take pupils to see the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland. However there are only 30 places available so it will be on a first come first served basis. This is a trip that aims to extend the triple scientists at GCSE into the world of Particle Physics and it also ties in beautifully to the A level specification. Below is the provisional itinerary for the trip.

Coach transfer to the airport.

Flight from London or Bristol Airport

Afternoon:

Arrival in Geneva and check-in at Geneva Hostel.
