Eligibility
All fencers are required to have British Fencing Compete LevelMembership; this can only be done online via the British Fencing website (
Online Entry
This year, along with the Youth series, we have introduced online entry and this is the preferred method of entering.
Yorkshire Senior Epee
Fencers entering the Yorkshire Senior Epee will need to meet the following criteria:-
- Fencers must be either a member of a Yorkshire fencing club, have affiliated their British Fencing Membership with the Yorkshire region or be resident within the Yorkshire region.
- Fencers must also be 13 years old or over on the 1st of January 2017
Winners of the senior event will be eligible to represent Yorkshire on the Senior Winton Cup team please ensure that your BFA membership is affiliated to Yorkshire.
Yorkshire Junior Epee (Novice Event)
Fencers entering the Yorkshire Junior Epee will need to meet the following criteria:-
- You must be either a member of a Yorkshire fencing club, have affiliated their British Fencing Membership with the Yorkshire region or be resident within the Yorkshire region.
- You must be 13 years old or over on the 1st of January 2017
- You should not have finished in the top 3 of the Yorkshire Senior Epee or previously won the Yorkshire Junior Epee.
Yorkshire Under 14 Epee
- Fencers must be either a member of a Yorkshire fencing club, have affiliated their British Fencing Membership with the Yorkshire region or be resident in the Yorkshire region.
- Fencers must also be 14 years old or younger on the 1st of January 2017
