ECP is a ministry of NCCS and is fully licensed by the State Child Care Administration. This means that we must adhere to strict requirements for safety and staff. We continue to strive for excellence, insuring that your child/children will be under the best of care. Our dedicated ECP Aides arefully trained and certified in CPR, First Aid and medication administration. On Monday through Thursday, the afternoon program includes a homework session so that when you pick up your child, all/most homework will be complete.
Snack time is part of each day’s schedule so students are expected to bring a snack if they attend ECP. Since snack time is mandated by the state CCA; students will be charged if given a snack from the NCCS cabinet.
Some of our families use our ECP program for regular child care while others use it as occasionally needed. There is no need to schedule ECP in advance. The fee for ECP is $2.50 per half hour. Families will be sent a monthly statement for ECP usage at the end of each month. Please note that a late fee of $1.00 per minute will be added if children are picked up after the stated closing time.
Morning ECP begins two hours late (9:30 a.m.) if school begins two hours late due to inclement weather. On days when we have a half-day dismissal or if school must close early due to inclement weather, afternoon ECP is not offered. Parents must pick up their children at the stated dismissal time or the late fee will be assessed.
