2016 Senior League
(ages 50 and wiser)
- Play will be on Tuesdays starting May 10th and will run through August 30th …..tee times will range from 8:00am to 9:00am. Each week you can play with any other league golfers you choose, and you can choose your own tee time from week to week, first come basis. Due to scheduling conflicts, we will also utilize Woodland Hills as away matches on (3) select weeks.
- Play will be 18 holes of stroke play, with handicap. Your handicap will be maintained in the GHIN system. Each week we will have a different type of competitive format….examples include: stroke play, stableford scoring, point quota system and more…
- In addition to each week’s competition, you will also be taking part in a team competition. Teams of 4-6 golfers (depends on total player pool) will be drawn randomly. Each week we will take the best 2-3 scores of each team to comprise a team score for that week. These weekly team scores will accumulate to establish winners for the first half of the season, second half of the season, then overall winners for the year. With this format, you are always part of a team, even if you have a bad day personally!
- League fee is $45 to cover: weekly prizes, season prizes, handicap, and season end luncheon. Non-members will pay a weekly play fee of $29 which includes golf, cart and range balls. On AWAY days at Woodland Hills, members will pay just a cart fee of $9, and non-members will pay $28.
