UNLESS PRIOR CONSENT FOR ABSENCE FROM THE FIRST MEETING OF A CLASS IS GRANTED BY THE COURSE INSTRUCTOR, THE INSTRUCTOR MAY REQUEST THAT THE OFFICE OF THE REGISTRAR DROP AN ABSENT STUDENT FROM THE CLASS ROSTER.
