EXTENSION OF LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION FORMS FOR ADMISSION TO M.Ed. 2 YEAR COURSE FOR THE SESSION 2017-18

Last date for submission of online Application Forms for admission to M.Ed 2-Yr. (Semester System) course for the Department of Education and Colleges of Education affiliated to Kurukshetra University running M.Ed. under SFS for the session 2017-18 has been extended upto 23.10.2017 without late fee. Interested candidates are advised to visit University website: www.kuk.ac.in and submit their Application Form online through University website: www.kuk.ac.in alongwith online application fee of Rs.800/- (Rs.200/- for SC/BC/Blind candidates of Haryana) w.e.f. 11.10.2017. The print out of online Application Form alongwith fee receipt and Form for College Preference and copy of caste certificate of SC/BC category and ESM/DFF/DA candidates are required to attach certificate for claiming reservation should reach in the office of the Chairperson, Dept. of Education, KUK either in Person or By Post by 28.10.2017. Preference will be given to the candidates who have already appeared in the Entrance Test thereafter to fill up the remaining vacant seats admission will be made on the basis of merit of qualifying exam. Prospectus (Code No. HBI-17) is available on the University Website. Candidates who have already applied need not to apply again.

Eligibility: B.Ed./B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed./B.EI. Ed. Examination with 50% (47.50% marks in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates) in aggregate.

Note: Counseling schedule as per Annexure-I and Form for College Preference is as per Annexure-II.

COUNSELING SCHEDULE-I

Counseling will be held in the R.K. Sadan, Near III-Gate, K.U. Kurukshetra for admission to M.Ed. course for Department of Education and aided/affiliated M.Ed. SFS Colleges in order i.e. AIC, HGC, SC, BC and Differently Able/ESM/DFF as under :

Note 1:

Fee of the selected candidates for the Department of Education, KUK will be deposited in SBI, KUK and fee for the selected candidates of SFS Colleges will be received by the concerned College. All the M.Ed. affiliated Colleges will depute their Representatives on the day/s of counseling to receive fees from the selected candidates at the counseling venue itself.

Note 2:

(i)  The reservation of seats is as per the Reservation Policy of the Haryana Govt. and is subject to any change/amendment by the State Govt. from time to time.

(ii)  Candidates belonging to reserved categories i.e. SC, BC & Differently Able/ ESM/DFF can also compete for All India Category and Haryana General Category seats.

(iii)  Once a seat is allotted to a candidate, it will not be changed.

(iv)  Print out of Application Forms alongwith required documents received after 28.10.2017 for any reasons what so ever, including postal delay or incomplete Form shall not be entertained.

(v)  Fees have to be deposited by the selected candidates on the day of counseling.

(vi) The candidates who have already applied, need not to apply again.
