Book Fair:

Discussed bringing calculator and cash drawer, checklist made by Courtney for timeslots, money goes home and sorted out[cash,checks, credit card} , Dani set up account for PTO, Jola has been talked to about dates\times, no Clifford this year.
Artist in residence: K-4 Steve Ferraris African drummer
Nov 22 coming to meet and greet, get set up
28-29-30 and 2 of December he is here to work his magic
Friday 2nd at 6:00 final performance
Food?....5:00 potluck? Pto provide drinks? Cookies in lobby after?
Maybe Starry Night that same night? Holly Mugford in charge of this? Perhaps we can put the two together…if it is…Amy will handle making those connections : }

Pledge sheet…discussed..can adjust levels to age groups as needed?...recognize minutes but category also number of days as option? For readers who have less minutes
List of willing donors for kids…local businesses….church….support reading…Amy will run it by teachers about minutes/days recognized decision?....courtney and carrie will outline elements to present to teachers….

Farm to school grant being written by Cynthia for us..asking about local farms..
Incorporate education with food, Amy introduced new foods like starfruit…field trips to liberty hill have worked in the past...Asia wants to grow pumpkin patch for next year! Yay!
Start planting the seeds of the mountain school proposal like Amy with the outdoor classroom, using local resources..people, places, things.
Amy can help with outdoor afterschool days with North Branch…
