The Audit Trail

OFFICIAL PUBLICATION OF THE IIA-NISQUALLY CHAPTER OCTOBER 2016 ______

President’s Message

Chapter Members,

Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2016 Fraud Seminar a success! Sixty three people attended the seminar. The four speakers each presented very different and interesting topics and all speakers were highly rated by those in attendance. Comments included, “professional and engaging presentation”, “interesting case studies,” “very dynamic speaker” and “exciting to listen to.”

The Board uses the feedback from attendee surveys to help improve future training opportunities. We want to make sure the future events cover topics our chapter members are interested in, are of high quality and a good value, so we appreciate all feedback from seminar attendees.

Our next event is the Holiday Social, which is scheduled for December 8th. Our plan is to have the newly elected State Auditor as the guest speaker. Watch the IIA Nisqually website for more details and registration.

As always, please let me know if you have any questions or want to get more involved with the Nisqually Chapter as a volunteer.
