BOXTOPS FOR EDUCATION

Why do we need them? You’ve already paid for the item, help it stretch further. The Box Tops are worth $.10 each and when we all work together to collect them, DublinElementary School earns money to support some of our fantastic programs here. This year the proceeds are going towards getting each student access to the new online math program, IXL. Simply put your collection in a baggie put the baggie in the Blue PFC box that is located outside of the office.

They’re all over your house! In your kitchen, pantry, bedrooms….everywhere!

Check your cereal boxes, Kleenex boxes, Ziploc boxes, Cake Mix boxes, Diaper boxes. Your neighbor’s house (ask them to help out!) Everywhere! So far we have only collected $600 worth and our goal is $1,500 so please keep clipping. Remember this is a school wide goal and if we reach it each child will earn an ice cream coupon!

INTER/INTRA DISTRICT TRANSFERS

Intra district transfers (changing schools within the district) for the 2012-2013 school year will ONLY be accepted from February 15, 2012-March 15, 2012. Early transfer applications will not be accepted.

Inter district transfers for students continuing in the same school are not required. If a student is transitioning from an elementary school to middle, or middle to high school a new application for the 2012-2013 is required. New inter district transfers requests for students requesting to go to school in our district will be accepted beginning April 1, 2012.

MIXED BAG FUNDRAISER

The PFC is looking for someone to chair our last fundraiser of the year. Once again a portion of the proceeds will go towards your child’s 5th Grade Outdoor Education Camp account. This is scheduled to take place in mid February so if you are willing to help please contact Sammie Jo Naderi at . Unfortunately if the PFC doesn’t find a chairperson for this fundraiser then it will not take place.
