BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF PORTER COUNTY NAMES

KRISTIN SCHEUB AS DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES

AUGUST 2016 –Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County is pleased to announce the newest edition to the organization’s family and Leadership Team. On August 15, 2016, Kristin Scheub began her responsibilities as Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County’s Director of Human Resources.

Scheub has ten years of Human Resources experience spending the last eight years of her career in an elementary school setting. She is passionate about promoting positive workplace relationships and a “team player” work environment. More importantly, Scheub’s passion is to mentor teammates so their full potential can be reached, thus creating a positive, healthy, and safe environment for children to grow and develop into productive members of our communities.

“We’re excited to have Kristin join our leadership team. Her experience in HR, combined with her positive attitude, work ethic and team building philosophy will help further develop our organizational culture and achieve our vision of becoming the premier youth development organization in our communities. Our staff members are the key to the success of our Club members. Kristin will further strengthen our workforce which, in turn, will build Great Futures for our Club members,” states Ryan Smiley, president of Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County.

Scheub lives in Valparaiso with her husband, of seventeen years, and their two sons. Members of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Valparaiso, she and her husband are on several committees and are very involved in their church family. Her sons have enjoyed many sports leagues and activities at Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County’s South Haven and Valparaiso Clubs.

“I am excited about working for and with Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County,” states Scheub. “I love the family atmosphere this organization not only provides for our Club members, but our staff as well.”

Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County has been opening doors to GREAT FUTURES for Porter County’s youth since 1971. Clubs are open after school and provide a great place for youth in grades K-12 to meet friends and have fun while in a safe, supervised environment. When school is out, our Clubs are in!
