Dear Business Owner/Operator/Manager,
London Animal Services is excited to announce the launch of its new rewards program encouraging responsible pet ownership, and we’d like you to join the program.
In London there are about 38,000 licensed pets, representing only 30% of London’s pet population. Our new pet rewards program is an incentive program, designed to achieve two goals:
1. Thank pet owners who have already obtained licenses, and
2. Motivate pet owners who have not yet licensed their pet.
Your participation is key to the program being successful. The more local businesses and services taking part in the program, the more incentives pet owners will have. We are asking for your commitment to provide a discount or special value to customers bearing the “Pet Rewards” card.
In addition to increasing the customers purchasing your services, your business will also be listed on the City of London’s website, along with a description of the related reward/discount being offered and a link to your website.
Why is pet licensing important? Pet licensing is the number one way to reunite a lost pet with its owner. Licensing generates funds used to support a variety of animal welfare programs, including:
· responsible pet ownership education
· dog and cat spay/neuter programs
· trap-neuter-return programs which assists in the reduction of the feral cat population
· off leash dog park development and maintenance, and
· adoption programs which allow homeless pets a second chance to be re-homed and loved by a family.
With your participation, we are confident this rewards program will benefit Londoner’s and their pets, as well as the entire community.
