Starline shows new products on CeBIT 2016 in Hannover - Hall 2 Booth B53.
On CeBIT 2016 from 14th-18th March Starline shows new products like new RAID controllers from Areca, NASdeluxe systems with JovianDSS, 10 TB Helium hard drives and 100 Gbps Ethernet NICs from QLogic.
Starline also exhibits in this year`s CeBIT. We would like to welcome you on our booth B53 in hall 2 to give an overview about the diverse utilization of our different products and solutions. We present you the latest controllers, disk technology and storage solutions in the audio-video area for 4K and 8K workflows. On this year`s CeBIT Starline shows following new products:
The new All-Flash RAID systems from Infortrend offer high availability and performance, workload sharing and improved capacity utilization at a very good price-performance ratio.
The new Areca ARC-1216/-1226 RAID controllers are the best choice for inexpensive, high-performance RAID controllers. They offer one or two internal or external 12 Gbps miniSAS HD connections for up to eight SAS/SATA HDDs or SSDs.
Also new are the 25 Gbps and 100 Gbps Ethernet NICs from QLogic. These intelligent Ethernet adapters offer an industry-leading network performance of up to 100 Gbps per port. The NIC Partitioning allows the administrator to partition a physical Ethernet port into four virtual ports with flexible, user-defined allocation of bandwidth.
New QLogic FibreChannel HBAs achieve a throughput of 16 Gbps per port with extremely low CPU utilization and full hardware offloads under Fibre Channel Gen5. Through a firmware update and corresponding SFP+ modules they can subsequently be upgraded to Gen6 and then achieve a performance of 32 Gbps per port, which gives a full bandwidth of 128 Gbps on all four ports. The QLogic HBAs are also available as low-profile model with four ports.
The new 10 TB helium-filled hard drives from Seagate and HGST currently offer the highest capacity in the market. Up to 640 TB raw capacity can so be achieved with the new RAIDdeluxe disk arrays. In a JBOD system RAIDdeluxe with 80 drive bays 800 TB are now possible.
The ideal solution to provide PCIe slots for Thunderbolt hosts on a Mac or Windows PC are the new external Netstor enclosures. This way for example video cards, RAID controllers or network cards can be used via Thunderbolt2 connections.
The Sony LTO-7 cartridges are the latest generation of LTO tapes and store up to 15 TB of compressed capacity (6 TB uncompressed). This is more than double the capacity of to the previous generation. Data transfer rates of up to 750 MB/s with compression (300 MB/s uncompressed) can be achieved.

Zealbox Z40 server systems for virtualization based on Supermicro. The Zealbox Z40 servers are certified for VMware ESXi 6.0 and are prouduced by Starline on costumers demands e.g. as a file server or as a complete solution with virtualization software.
The TopRAID M series (powered by NEC) has been designed to ensure an effective and efficient data processing. Especially in virtualized environments where high availability and transparent integration is important TopRAID solutions are the right choice.
Enterprise SSDs from Toshiba are suitable for computing-, server- and storage systems that require a high level of performance and reliability. Toshiba also offers various classes of Enterprise HDDs with 12 Gbps SAS for reliable performance in environments with a 24-hour operation.
ATTO Thunder Link systems enable storage and network connectivity for SAS, Fibre Channel or Ethernet devices to Thunderbolt-enabled hosts. ATTO provides the complete range of the DeskLink series "Thunder Link" and "Thunder Stream" with two Thunderbolt2 ports of 20 Gbps data transfer rate. Up to six Thunderbolt devices can be operated in "daisy chain" mode.
We also show UPSs from CyberPower and a NASdeluxe system of the Z-series with Open-E JovianDSS. The servers are the perfect solution for a wide range of storage setups and an excellent choice for companies looking for flexible configurations and expandability to a highly available cluster.
