RAMSEUR DAY ON MAIN STREET PAGEANT
OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
Ramseur Day on Main Street Pageant is an event designed to provide a positive environment for young girls and boys with competitive spirits. It encourages little girls and boys to showcase their personality, and poise and to share this with their community.
1. You must be at least four (4) years of age and not older than seventeen (17) years of age as of the
Date of the pageant.
2. All Contestants must be accompanied by aPARENT/GUARDIAN in order to compete.
3. Open to the Ramseur and Surrounding areas.
4. Application, and $15 Entry Fee must be submitted by September 25, 2105.
5. Must be of good moral character.
6. If selected, you will agree to abide by all the rules and regulations of the pageant.
7. The winners are invited to participate in the following events sponsored by the Ramseur Chamber of Commerce and will attend in my crown, sash and appropriate attire as outlined by the Ramseur Chamber Board of Directors: Christmas at Roller Mill Hill, Christmas Parade, Summer Concert Series, and any other event sponsored by Ramseur Chamber of Commerce.
8. Good sportsmanship is required at all times by contestants, parents and guests. Failure to comply will result in disqualification without refund and any awards received will be forfeited.
9. Should contestant be unable to compete for any reason after entry fee is paid, ALL fees are non-refundable.
10. Must attend “pre-pageant” meeting to be announced after application deadline.
11. Must wear pageant number during competition at all times.
12. Must agree to NOT hold the pageant, its owners or workers responsible for any loss or damage to personal property or person during the pageant or at events sponsored by the Ramseur Chamber of Commerce during my reign.
DRESS GUIDELINES
1. Sunday Best to Pageant attire accepted. No low cut, cut off, or mid drifts.
2. Girls are allowed to wear “age appropriate” makeup.
3. All shoes must be safe for walking and age appropriate.
NOTE: The committee has the right to reject inappropriate attire at check in.
CATEGORIES
Titles and awards will be given to the following age categories:
Little Miss/Master Ramseur 4-6 years old
Junior Miss/Master Ramseur 7-9 years old
Teen Miss/Mr. Ramseur 10-13 years old
Young Miss/Mr. Ramseur 14-17 years old
A “Runner Up” will be selected for all age categories and will receive on-stage recognition. In the event that the winner of the pageant is unable to fulfill their duties, the “Runner Up” from that age category will fulfill the duties of the pageant winner as outlined in the Officials Rules and Regulations set by the Ramseur Chamber of Commerce.
In the event there are no more than one (3) entry for any of the categories, there will be no competition for this category.
