Conditions of Entry:

Entry is conditional upon acceptance of the following conditions

  • Entering this competition constitutes acknowledgement that current PCAV rules apply and acceptance of these rules.
  • Biosecurity Guidelines - I have read and understand the PCAV Biosecurity Guidelines as shown website and I will act in accordance with these guidelines.
  • The show jumping rules for this competition are as set out in the FEI Jumping Rules and the PCAV 2016Show Jumping Rules.
  • The Organising Committee reserves the right to cancel any class or competition; divide any class; alter times; refuse any entry with or without stating the reason.
  • All refunds incur a $10 admin fee. No refunds after closing date unless notified prior to ride time and a valid veterinary or medical certificate supplied within 7 days of notification.
  • Neither the Organising Committee of this competition nor the PCAV accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators or any other person or property.
  • PCAV membership cards must be handed in when registering. No card, no ride.

a. Everybody fills in the Liability Declaration Form.

b. $10 Day Attendance fee is due unless you have the proof that you are a current member of PCAV, Equestrian Australia (EA), Arab Horse Society of Australia (AHSA), Australian Endurance Riders Association (AERA), SHCA, HRCAV, an Interstate Pony club; or can prove personal Public Liability cover of at least $1,000,000

c. Riders without adequate insurance cover pay $10 for Liability Only Cover for the duration of the event (not personal medical) & complete the Day Participant Waiver. PCAV Insurance Policy specifically states anyone not following PCAV rules may be left uninsured.

  • Competitors may ride more than one horse on the day subject to the conditions of PCAV Handbook of By-Laws Multiple Horse Rule. Horses are restricted to max 5 rounds per day.
  • Medical armbands must be worn by all competitors
  • Helmets must be PCAV compliant. Spot checks may occur.
  • Gear check before first ridden phase of the competition is required.
  • The Organising Committee will pre-allocate and advise back numbers. Riders may supply their own bridle or saddle cloth number, to be displayed on both sides.
  • Queries, protests, horse abuse as per the PCAV Handbook of By-Laws.
  • Dogs are prohibited without exception.
  • Horses must be at least 4 years old. No stallions, colts or rigs allowed.
  • NO LUNGEING PERMITTED.
  • Times will be emailed to all competitors prior to the event and will be published on the CIPC website.
  • To be eligible for Championship placings, competitors must compete in both events. In the event of elimination in any phase riders are still eligible for overall prizes.
  • SCORING :The World Cup scoring system will apply.
  • Equality of Placings: In the event of equal placings for the overall Champion a countback will be conducted using placings from the AM7.
