Main Purpose of Job:
· Direct and community development and support to help reach and engage young men, reduce barriers to them accessing the service and provide them with the support they need.
· Further development and delivery of CSE preventative workshops and targeted support for boys and young men; using innovative approaches and specialist resources
· To work proactively with all other relevant agencies working in this field to ensure joined-up and integrated services for the young people and their carers/families.
· To promote continuous improvement across the service to ensure the very best outcomes for children, young people and their families as set out in the contract requirement.
· Support the CSL/M in the Co-ordination and operational management of the delivery of direct support to children, young people and their parents/carers
· Manage the development and delivery of practitioner training and work shops for children, young people, carers, and community groups in order to raise awareness of and reduce the risks of childhood sexual exploitation
Performance Indicators- meeting annual organisational targets:
· Manage a case load of up to 5 families (depending upon complexity) on a rolling twelve week programme; ensuring that schedules for interventions are implemented in a timely manor; as per Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
· Complete Outcomes Based Accountability Framework and Impact Assessments: self assessment questionnaires; family questionnaires; verbal feedback. Local monitoring of service engagement/retention, Referral/Signposting Rates, Attendance and surveys at training sessions on all cases and work with colleagues to develop impact measures for group work. Ensure that outcomes are measured in line with service specification and KPI’s – outcomes measurement tool completed at beginning/mid/end of service provision
· Complete NWG CSE Risk Assessment Tool
· Safeguarding incident reporting to timescale
· Record all sessions and any incidents requiring follow up to required quality and time bound
· Customer satisfaction is good.
· Case recording of referrals to required quality and time bound completion
· Service meets quota of a minimum of 48 young people supported within any one year
· Service safeguarding and case file audit
· Contract compliance to specified outputs and outcomes
· Successful achievement of KPI outcomes and required reporting as set-out in service specification
· Support team to work to deliver high quality family support
· Carry out Team meetings, effective supervisions and staff development

Job Description
PROVIDING EXCELLENT SERVICES
1. To support the management and delivery of the Phoenix service so that they are compliant with quality safeguarding practice and operate within the procedures for the relevant Local Safeguarding Children Board and Spurgeons policies and procedures, and consistently applying Spurgeons safeguarding reporting, monitoring audit processes.
2. To provide individual support to boys and young men who are at risk of or who have experienced sexual exploitation; supporting them to minimise risky behaviour, advocating on their behalf to access relevant support services and empowering them in making positive changes to their lives.
3. To assess the needs of the young people in order to promote their well being and improve outcomes.
4. To facilitate work shops with young people addressing the issues of on-line safety, sexual exploitation and related issues.
5. To develop innovative ways of engaging with and developing services for young people and their carers especially those who are harder to reach and at greatest risk of sexual exploitation.
6. To signpost young people to appropriate inter agency services and to promote responses which meet their needs and which improves outcomes for young people.
7. To keep accurate and up to date records using the InForm Case Management system and to provide feedback as part of the monitoring and evaluation of the project.
8. To work as part of a team to prepare for and participate in evaluation processes as required.
9. To comply with Spurgeons safeguarding policies and procedures, including health and safety, lone working, child protection, incident reporting and case recording.
10. To work within all Spurgeons policies and procedures.
11. To work as part of a team and participate in team meetings, training and other events as required.

Qualifications
/ NVQ level 3/4 qualification in Child Care, Health and Social Care or equivalentA professional qualification in the children’s social care field such as Health and Social Care, Childhood and Youth Studies or Youth Justice
Evidence of training in approaches relevant to the service requirements such as Systemic Therapy, Solution Focussed Therapy, Signs of Safety.
Evidence of supervisory experience or development/training
