Our Annual Goals

Reading

By the end of the year, 95% of our students will be proficient in identifying consonant letters and their sounds.

Math

By the end of the year, 85% of our students will be able to fluently add and subtract within 5.

Writing

By the end of the year, 90% of our students will write unassisted writing samples as characterized by the common core writing exemplars.

First Quarter

By end of 1st quarter in reading, 85% of our students will be able to identify 15 or more letters and 10 or more letter sounds.

By end of 1st quarter in math, 90% of our students will be able to rote count to 20 and write numerals to 8.

By end of 1st quarter in writing, 85% of our students will draw a recognizable picture and apply letter/sound knowledge in their writing

Second Quarter

By the end of 2nd quarter in reading, 85% of our students will be able to identify 50 or more letters and 35 letters sounds.

By the end of 2nd quarter in math, 90% of our students will be able to rote count to 40 and write numerals to 20.

By the end of 2nd quarter in writing, 85% of our students will draw a recognizable picture and compose a corresponding thought with consistent use of letter/sounds.

*Reviewed Common Assessment of counting sets (1 – 20) and writing numbers (1 – 20). Currently, 83% of students are able to count sets to 20 and 59% of students are able to write numbers to 20.
