Year 6 Homework

Thursday 30th March 2017

Please complete and return work completed in your homework book on Tuesday.

Dear Parents,

Please note- a holiday is also very important- so make sure you only do a little bit a day. 20 mins a day should be enough, with a further 20-30 min a day reading.

English:

  1. Spellings- children have their updated list- keep practicing and learning these. Year ¾ and 5/6 list is attached to remind you.
  2. The children have shared books today- I want them to read one book over Easter- if they have recently started something then they can continue- some have chosen new ones today. They can then share this with the class after the holiday.
  3. Can you make and design your own grammar game. It can be on any area of grammar that you want to get better at. There is a list below of what we did in class this term and you can use your CGP books to help you. It can be as simple as a snap game or card matching game to a simple board game- remember it is to help you remember an area you find tricky.
