Imani House Program Supervisor (100% FTE)

Position Summary:
The Program Supervisor at Imani House is responsible for all facets of the supervision of Imani Skills Trainers, facilitating effective communication and working relationships among all staff, facilitating on-site implementation of the Imani Residential Treatment Program and insuring the safety of staff and clients by maintaining the facility. In addition, the Supervisor provides supervision, training and support to Skills Trainers and Clients by working two eight hour online shifts. The position reports to the Program Director regarding administrative, personnel and ongoing program and policy implementation, supervision and training of staff and facility maintenance and safety issues. The Program Supervisor participates in the Imani Clinical Team meetings and oversees the medical services at Imani.
Education and Experience Requirements:
A typical background for the person who can fulfill the duties of this position is as follows:
A.Master’s Degree with major study in social work or a closely allied field and one (1) year of experience in the care and rehabilitation of youth, or a Bachelor’s Degree with major study in social work, psychology, sociology, or a closely allied field and two (2) years of experience in the care and rehabilitation of youth.
B.Minimum of two years' experience working with adolescents and families, including at least one year of residential treatment experience, preferably working with youth who are identified as sexually aggressive.
C.Supervisory experience preferred.
D.Experience working with the Oregon Department of Human Services or Juvenile Justice system is preferred.

- Ability to accurately read, record and interpret information.
- Math aptitude and abilities sufficient for managing and reconciling petty cash account and expenditures.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with a wide variety of individuals, including clients, families, management staff, and community partner/referral sources.
- Ability to climb at least two flights of stairs.
- Ability to provide auditory and visual supervision of clients.
- Ability to consistently attend and be punctual for scheduled meetings and work assignments and be in a condition suitable for carrying out responsibilities of position.
- Openness to feedback and supervision.
- Manual/physical dexterity allowing for performance of routine office functions such as copying, filing, phone use, computer use, writing, faxing, etc.
Other Requirements:
- Personal transportation allowing for travel within the Portland metropolitan area, a valid driver's license for state of residency, and a driving record which permits coverage under the corporate auto liability policy are preferred. If using a personal vehicle for work related purposes, proof of auto liability insurance is also required. If driving personal vehicle for work purposes, personal auto liability coverage is required ($100,000/$300,000 levels are strongly recommended). All employees driving for work purposes (either personal vehicle or agency vehicle) must complete organization’s driving approval process before driving for work purposes.

- Food Handler’s Certification
- Must pass criminal history check.
Salary/Benefits: Beginning salary is $2340 per month. This position is eligible for Agency benefits that include medical, dental, life and long-term disability, EAP, 401(k), and paid time off. Varied optional coverages are also available. Benefit programs have varied waiting periods for eligibility.
